Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation seeks a Certified Medication Aide to securely administer prescribed meds per MAR/TAR and provide personal care and nursing tasks to residents. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, document in logs, and support the health needs under supervision.

Weekend and evening availability is required; prior experience in senior living and a current Medication Technician certification per state regulations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education/experience.
• 1+ months experience in senior living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification per state regulations.
• English proficiency sufficient to perform duties and emergencies.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel before accepting medication keys.
• Order medications and treatments and notify when supply is low.
• Notify supervisor if supply is less than two days without received meds.
• Provide personal care and general nursing tasks including vital signs and daily documentation.
