West Morris Area YMCA is seeking a Coordinator to support membership sales, retention, and staff development at the Welcome Center. You will lead weekend operations, train staff, and ensure data integrity while building member relationships.

The role requires 2+ years in membership or customer service, strong communication, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. Evening and weekend availability is expected, with opportunities to participate in the Annual Campaign and YMCA events.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in membership or customer service, sales or marketing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Experience in staff supervision and leadership.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of materials.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a friendly environment prioritizing member service.
• Coordinate, support and oversee operations of the Welcome Center.
• Act as on-site supervisor on weekends.
• Assist with hiring, motivating, training, and scheduling of Welcome Center staff.
• Ensure staff comply with data input standards and maintain database integrity.
• Prepare and maintain accurate membership files and weekly reports.
• Communicate effectively with staff and members to share accurate information.
• Support registrations and membership/program updates.
• Provide shift coverage for YMCA emergencies and Welcome Center needs.
• Engage in the Annual Campaign and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the organization’s strategic plan and YMCA events.
