Perspire Sauna Studio is seeking a Membership Sales Manager to join our NYC team. You’ll lead studio membership growth, coaching a high-performing sales team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a wellness-centered environment across two locations.

This role requires 35–40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekday evenings and weekends, with shifts rotating between Perspire Flatiron and Perspire Williamsburg.

Responsibilities

• Master the front desk: greet guests, manage bookings, check-ins, sales pitches, and guest communications.

• Coach the team on sales process and professional development.
• Lead community outreach and partner with local businesses.
• Support operations as Manager on Duty and uphold service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory; ensure guest questions are addressed.

Perspire Sauna Studio is seeking a Membership Sales Manager to join our passionate NYC team. You’ll be a key leader in our studios—driving membership growth, coaching a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a wellness-centered, inclusive environment. You will be working 35-40 hours per week over 5 days that include weekday evenings and every weekend. You will be assigned shifts that alternate between the following 2 studio locations based on a monthly schedule:

• Perspire Flatiron : 50 West 23rd St., New York, NY (Manhattan)
• Perspire Williamsburg: 191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY

Here’s what you’ll do as a Membership Sales Manager:

• Master the front desk: Enthusiastically greet and engage with all guests in studio while developing a personal rapport with our regulars. Multitask at the front desk while managing bookings, check ins/outs, sales pitches, membership changes, retail inventory and guest communications.
• Administer studio tours: Educate guests on the benefits of sauna/contrast therapy and promote the benefits of regular sauna use
• Drive In-Studio Sales: Sell membership, package and retail product sales with confidence while working the front desk, setting the pace in sales goals and commissions for the entire team.
• Drive Outbound Sales: Proactively make high-energy phone calls and text messages to get warm leads to book their first appointments, close missed sales after first-guest visits, and win back lapsed former members.
• Coach the Team: Train Sales Associates on our sales process and front desk duties, coach on behavior and energy, share feedback with management, and set the tone for professional and personal growth.
• Community Outreach: Reach out to local business partners, schedule and attend 4 community events per month, leading grassroots marketing outside the studios to spread awareness in the community and sign up first-time guests.
• Support Operations Management: Regularly act as Manager on Duty (MOD): Manage the in-studio team during opening hours, support team coverage, ensure smooth daily flow, and uphold studio and guest service standards.
• Deliver Excellence: Help guests feel seen, supported, and excited to return. Handle guest questions or concerns with care and professionalism.
• Oversee Facility Maintenance: perform routine cleaning duties and oversee studio cleanliness and inventory.
• Physical demands: standing, lifting and carrying laundry and towels, and using cleaning chemicals.

• 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, outperforming peers and growing team responsibilities

Compensation

• Starting pay of $25 per hour, paid every 2 weeks, plus uncapped commissions on package sales and membership sales after renewal
• Pay raise to $26/hour after 90 days and $27/hour after 6 months, subject to: no unexcused lateness or absences, consistent professionalism and compliance with company policies, 100% training completion, meeting minimum sales and outreach performance metrics.
