Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio of Flatiron is seeking a Membership Sales Associate to greet guests, provide studio tours, and sell memberships with confidence to meet monthly sales targets. You will handle front-desk duties, promote sauna services, and participate in community events to grow guest signups.

The role emphasizes health/wellness passion, energetic communication, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests at the studio, building rapport.
• Give studio tours and educate on sauna/therapy benefits.
• Sell memberships, packages and retail with confidence to meet sales goals.
• Make 30+ high-energy calls per shift to guests.
• Attend nearby community events to promote the studio and sign up guests.
• Multitask at front desk: bookings, check-ins/outs, memberships, inventory, inquiries.
• Complete daily cleaning duties.

Job Summary

We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to connect with people. As the expert on all of the studio's services, amenities, and programs, you’re responsible for building lasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring they’re maximizing their Perspire experience.

This is a position to work from 2 locations: Perspire Flatiron (50 West 23rd St., New York, NY - Manhattan) and Williamsburg (191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY). You will be working 4 to 5 shifts per week of 4 to 8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

Here’s what you’ll do as a Membership Sales Associate:

• Enthusiastically greet and engage with all guests in studio and connect with each one on a personal level.
• Administer studio tours, educate guests on the benefits of sauna/contrast therapy and promote the benefits of regular sauna use
• Sell memberships, packages and retail products with confidence in a commission-based atmosphere to reach monthly sales goals.
• Proactively make 30+ high-energy phone calls per shift to our guests
• Attend nearby community outreach events to promote the studio and sign up new guests
• Multitask while manage bookings, check ins/outs, membership changes, product inventory, and inbound communications at the front desk.
• Complete daily cleaning duties

Compensation:

Starting pay of $18 per hour, paid every 2 weeks plus any applicable commissions on sales.

Regular pay rises up to $20/hour, subject to a perfect track record of on-time attendance, professionalism and compliance with company policies, to 100% training completion, and to meeting minimum sales performance metrics.
