Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio in NYC seeks an enthusiastic Membership Sales Associate to greet guests, present studio services, and close memberships and packages. You’ll connect with visitors, explain sauna benefits, and help guests maximize their Perspire experience across two busy locations: Flatiron and Williamsburg.

You’ll work 4–5 shifts per week (4–8 hours) with opportunities for advancement to Lead Sales Associate.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests in the studio and connect personally.
• Give studio tours and educate guests on sauna benefits.
• Sell memberships, packages, and retail with confidence to hit monthly sales goals.
• Make 30+ high-energy customer calls per shift.
• Represent the studio at nearby community outreach events.
• Multi-task at the front desk: bookings, check-ins/outs, changes, inventory, and inquiries.
• Complete daily cleaning duties.

This is a position to work from 2 locations: Perspire Flatiron (50 West 23rd St., New York, NY - Manhattan) and Williamsburg (191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY). You will be working 4 to 5 shifts per week of 4 to 8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

Here’s what you’ll do as a Membership Sales Associate:

• Enthusiastically greet and engage with all guests in studio and connect with each one on a personal level.
• Administer studio tours, educate guests on the benefits of sauna/contrast therapy and promote the benefits of regular sauna use
• Sell memberships, packages and retail products with confidence in a commission-based atmosphere to reach monthly sales goals.
• Proactively make 30+ high-energy phone calls per shift to our guests
• Attend nearby community outreach events to promote the studio and sign up new guests
• Multitask while manage bookings, check ins/outs, membership changes, product inventory, and inbound communications at the front desk.
• Complete daily cleaning duties

• A high degree of confidence and enthusiasm
• A genuine desire to provide exceptional service
• A competitive and goal-oriented nature, driven to achieve and exceed sales goals
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• A consistently positive, team player and no-job-is-too-small attitude
• Availability to work 32+ hours per week
• Mindbody Software software experience is a plus!

Compensation:

• Starting pay of $18 per hour, paid every 2 weeks plus any applicable commissions on sales.
• Regular pay raises up to $20/hour, subject to a perfect track record of on-time attendance, professionalism and compliance with company policies, to 100% training completion, and to meeting minimum sales performance metrics.
