Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio of Williamsburg is seeking a Senior Membership Sales Associate to join our NYC health and wellness team. You will engage guests, showcase sauna services, and drive memberships with a commission-based structure across two Brooklyn/Manhattan locations.

The role emphasizes high-energy outreach, excellent customer service, and ongoing relationship building to maximize the Perspire experience for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in customer-facing sales roles.
• Strong interest in health, wellness and fitness.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and engage with each visitor in-studio.
• Provide studio tours and educate guests on sauna/therapy benefits.
• Sell memberships, packages and retail in a commission-based environment to hit monthly targets.
• Make high-energy outreach calls to guests per shift.
• Attend local community events to sign up new guests.
• Manage bookings, check-ins/outs, membership changes, and front-desk communications.
• Complete daily cleaning duties.

Job Summary

We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to connect with people. As the expert on all of the studio's services, amenities, and programs, you're responsible for building lasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring they're maximizing their Perspire experience.

This is a position to work from 2 locations:

• Perspire Flatiron : 50 West 23rd St., New York, NY (Manhattan)
• Perspire Williamsburg: 191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY

You will be working 32-40 hours per week across 5 days, based on a monthly schedule which includes mornings, evenings and weekends.

Here's what you'll do as a Senior Membership Sales Associate:

• Enthusiastically greet and engage with all guests in studio and connect with each one on a personal level.
• Administer studio tours, educate guests on the benefits of sauna/contrast therapy and promote the benefits of regular sauna use
• Sell memberships, packages and retail products with confidence in a commission-based atmosphere to reach monthly sales goals.
• Proactively make high-energy phone calls per shift to our guests
• Attend nearby community outreach events to promote the studio and sign up new guests
• Multitask while manage bookings, check ins/outs, membership changes, product inventory, and inbound communications at the front desk.
• Complete daily cleaning duties
• Physical demands: standing, lifting and carrying laundry and towels, and using cleaning chemicals.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing sales roles
• An innate interest for health, wellness and fitness
• A high degree of confidence and enthusiasm
• A genuine desire to provide exceptional service
• A competitive and goal-oriented nature, driven to achieve and exceed sales goals
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• A consistently positive, team player and no-job-is-too-small attitude
• Open availability to work 5 days per week including every weekend
• Mindbody software experience is a plus!

Compensation:

• Starting pay of $21/hour, paid every 2 weeks plus uncapped commissions on package sales and memberships once renewed
• Pay raise to $22/hour after 90 days, subject to: no unexcused lateness or absences, consistent professionalism and compliance with company policies, 100% training completion, and meeting minimum sales performance metrics.
