Wheelersp is seeking a Membership & Operations Associate in Chicago, IL. The role provides administrative support for membership activities, maintains records, coordinates volunteer recognition, and helps with meeting scheduling during a busy season.

The position is contract, part-time with a hybrid work arrangement based in Chicago. A bachelor's degree in a related field and 0–2 years of relevant experience are preferred, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
• Experience assisting with routine administrative and operational tasks.
• Experience working with nonprofit organizations or associations.
• Experience maintaining records in a membership database or CRM.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Monitor and respond to the membership inbox and member inquiries.
• Maintain the membership database, including identifying and merging duplicate records in the AMS.
• Coordinate volunteer recognition activities, including birthday recognitions.
• Schedule meetings, collect participant availability, and manage calendar logistics.
• Provide general administrative support for membership operations as needed.
