Association Headquarters in Alexandria, VA is building a pipeline of Membership Coordinators to support membership programs, events, and member services amid rapid growth.

The Membership Coordinator will handle recruitment, retention, database management, and client-facing support, collaborating with the Account Executive and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional member experiences and drive organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Proven experience in membership management, preferably in a nonprofit, association, or membership-based organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Your Membership (YM) and Higher Logic Platform a plus.
• Adaptability and Innovation: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends, as well as innovative thinking to develop creative solutions to attract and retain members.

Responsibilities

• Membership Recruitment: Prospect outreach, marketing support, conference/event tie-ins, application processing.
• Membership Retention: Renewal management, member engagement, benefits administration, retention analysis.
• Database & Records Management: AMS/CRM maintenance, dues processing, reporting, data integrity.
• Member Services & Support: Customer service, committee support, special programs.
