National Federation of Independent Business in Birmingham, AL seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow small-business membership. You will be a hunter/closer, engaging independent owners in person, presenting our proven sales script, and closing enrollments on the spot.

Qualifications

• Owns a business or led a department with accountability
• Ability to conduct in-person cold calls and build rapport with small business owners
• Fast learner who thrives on a proven, structured sales model
• Experience growing membership or similar initiatives for an organization

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting)
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver a 5-minute verbatim sales presentation
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and your state capitals
