Job summary

NFIB—The Voice of Small Business—seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership through in-person engagements with small business owners across California. This hunter/closer role requires owning a territory, delivering a concise five-minute NFIB presentation, and closing new member enrollments on the spot.

You’ll work in a high-velocity field environment with uncapped commission potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a business, department, or territory with full accountability.
• Strong closing and cold-calling abilities with rapport-building skills.
• Fast learner who thrives in a proven, structured sales model.
• Ability to present NFIB value proposition effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: Master and deliver our 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: Use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: Educate owners on how NFIB protects their rights in Washington, D.C., and your state capital.
