Job summary

Stadium Scene is seeking a Director of Membership Sales to develop and implement programs that grow and retain club memberships. You will lead selling programs, manage upgrades and changes, and target markets for outreach, while maintaining a roster of prospects and driving revenue.

You will oversee the department’s budget, train staff, and collaborate with the General Manager to enhance member satisfaction and engagement, with a strong focus on results-driven selling and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Resort Management, Business Administration, Public Relations or related major.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Two to three years related experience in a private club environment.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee Membership Sales department and control its budget.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement membership selling programs to maintain a profitable membership level.
• Sell club memberships, upgrades, conversions and membership changes.
• Determine markets to canvass for qualified individuals and manage the member roster.
• Develop new sales prospects by contacting individuals, groups, and companies in the community.
• Coordinate the preparation and distribution of membership kits for calls and direct mail activities.
• Maintain accurate membership sales tracking and reports.
• Coordinate member promotional and marketing events at the club.
• Orient new members by introducing them to key staff and scheduling introductory appointments.
