Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is looking for a hospitality-driven Sales Manager to drive membership dues and base growth across the area. You will oversee sales operations, including Fitness Advisors, prospecting, staff training, new member sales, and member retention.

You will lead a sales team, conduct daily meetings, and ensure policies and procedures are followed while maintaining revenue goals and strong staff relations.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and evenings and holidays.
• Must hold CPR certification or obtain within 60 days.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Experience in cash handling and credit cards.
• Member Service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Seek new and existing memberships to exceed sales goals by phone, outside sales, and current member retention.
• Report and communicate daily with Club General Manager as well as Regional Manager on achievement of goals and outflow.
• Conduct daily sales meetings to discuss performance and objectives with club Sales team.
• Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, and direct staff; evaluate performance and reward or discipline.
• Provide orientation and training to new team members.
• Attend staff and club meetings and events.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff and update sales policies and procedures.
• Monitor Membership revenues and goals; coordinate with retention departments.
