Job summary

Ohana Growth Partners, a Planet Fitness operator, seeks a Service Desk Associate in Laurel, MD to manage front-desk service, membership sales, and facility cleanliness. You will interact with members and guests, assist with questions, and help maintain equipment and cleanliness.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate transactions, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Previous cleaning/maintenance experience preferred; and, Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests upon arrival and say goodbye upon departure.
• Monitor club access for members and non-members.
• Answer questions and handle member and guest complaints.
• Answer phone calls and provide information to prospects.
• Give tours to prospective members.
• Sell memberships, write agreements, and enter new members into database.
• Operate Point-of-Sale system and collect balances on past due accounts.
• Schedule appointments for fitness training sessions.
• Complete the Club Walk-Around every 20 minutes and complete checklists.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
