Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a Director of Membership at one campus, with on-site work every day in Chicago, IL. You will own the entire membership journey from inquiry to onboarding, managing 20+ active families simultaneously and delivering fit recommendations to families.

You will run tours, open houses, and shadow days, and you’ll use AI tools to prepare summaries and keep the CRM/SIS up-to-date, reporting weekly to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a client-facing role where a buyer spent $25,000+ per client or $2,000+/mo.
• Owned a client, admissions, or enrollment journey from first inquiry to commitment decision.
• Managed 7+ client relationships in a CRM or tracking system.
• Told a prospective client not to buy or enroll when not the right fit.
• Used AI tools in a client-facing workflow.
• Communicated concisely with executives, high-net-worth individuals, or demanding clients.
• Led polished in-person tours or hosted experiences for affluent families or executives.
• Built a multi-touch relationship over 30+ days with families not ready to enroll.
• Owned enrollment or revenue target for at least 12 months with measurable results.
• Built a demand channel that brought paying clients or enrolled families.
• Willing to relocate within 60 days to a listed market.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own the campus membership journey from inquiry to onboarding and first day of school.
• Manage 20+ active families at different stages and respond to inquiries within four hours.
• Lead campus tours, open houses, info sessions, and shadow days.
• Form and communicate admit or decline recommendations to families.
• Keep HubSpot and SIS up-to-date; summarize with AI tools and report pipeline health weekly.
