Job summary

AISES is seeking a Community Engagement and Membership Manager to work remotely or in a Hybrid model from Boulder, CO. The role oversees membership operations, recruitment, chapter support, and platform management to enhance member experience and grow participation across AISES networks.

The position collaborates with colleges, universities, tribes, and K–12 partners, administering processes, data accuracy, and privacy considerations while coordinating with Marketing, IT, and program teams on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of membership, outreach, or higher education experience.
• Thorough understanding and sensitivity to Native American history and culture and an awareness of Native STEM education.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual membership recruitment and retention strategies.
• Provide responsive customer service and maintain member records.
• Coordinate budgets, reporting, and administrative processes.
• Support and coordinate leadership efforts with student representatives.
• Develop feedback processes and outreach to strengthen engagement and satisfaction.
• Build relationships with external STEM organizations, universities, K–12 and tribal schools.
• Oversee membership application processes and database management in Salesforce.
• Manage the online membership platform, ensuring data privacy and audit readiness.
• Lead chapter support activities and resources development (handbooks, toolkits, webinars).
• Plan and participate in AISES events, including conferences and gatherings.
