Job summary

One Medical in Carlsbad, CA is hiring a Member Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients in the office and ensure a welcoming lobby. You will manage check-in/check-out, verify insurance, print paperwork, and support providers using the team’s tools.

You will thrive in a patient-centric, collaborative environment, using Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, and 1Life EMR daily. This is a full-time, in-person role at our Carlsbad office.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet and using multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework to ensure a fluid, positive in-office experience.
• Handle front-of-house duties: check in/out, insurance verification, paperwork, supplies.
• Support in-office providers and participate in team problem solving.
• Master Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, and 1Life EMR for daily tasks.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office appearance.
