Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly teller in Acton, MA. You will process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with accuracy and care, while assisting members with product questions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cash handling experience.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Verbal communication skills.
• Technical skills (Windows, Microsoft Office).
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing.
• Assist with end of day balancing and reconciliations.
• Explain DCU/DCU products and services and fulfill member requests.
• Identify member needs and cross-sell appropriate products and services.
• Adhere to security policies and limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
• Provide coverage in other branches or departments when needed.
• Suggest efficiency and process improvements and participate in implementation.
