Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Teller in Tyngsboro, MA to process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, assist with check cashing, and support end-of-day balancing. You will explain products and services to members and identify cross-sell opportunities to help members reach their financial goals.

Strong verbal communication and cash handling experience are preferred, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience recommended.
• Verbal communication skills required.
• Technical skills with Windows and Microsoft Office expected.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing.
• Assist with end-of-day balancing.
• Explain DCU products and services and handle member requests.
• Identify member needs and cross-sell appropriate products/services.
• Adhere to policies and security procedures to limit fraud and losses.
• Provide coverage across branches or departments as needed.
• Submit ideas for efficiency and process improvements.
