Job summary

Sam’s East, Inc. is seeking a front-end supervisor at our San Antonio, TX location. You will assist management in supervising associates, assigning duties, and ensuring excellent member service and merchandise execution.

You’ll drive membership activity, train staff, and participate in recruiting, scheduling, coaching and performance evaluations. You will also handle transactions, guide members on self-service options, and support store operations to maintain a safe, welcoming shopping

Qualifications

• 6 months retail experience including front-end operations
• 6 months customer service experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Assist management with supervising associates and assigning duties.
• Provide direction and guidance on member service approaches and resolve member complaints according to guidelines.
• Recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching and evaluating associates to meet store goals.
• Promote memberships and inform members about programs and benefits.
• Handle cash registers and assist with self-checkout and pickup orders.
