Job summary

SECU is seeking a diligent Member Services Representative to manage branch operations, assist members with account opening and maintenance, and perform cash handling with accuracy. The role requires knowledge of credit union products and strong customer service skills.

The position involves engaging with members across channels, including in-person and phone interactions, and participating in community events to strengthen SECU’s presence.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be self-motivated and dependable.
• Ability to problem solve and use good judgment.
• Active listener and communicator.
• Must meet all requirements of the Assoc MSR role.

Responsibilities

• Explain product information to members and answer questions.
• Handle account maintenance and opening various account types.
• Process tax-advantaged accounts and wire transfers.
• Assist with notary services and cash handling.
• Balance cash drawer and vault; process deposits and checks.
• Provide referrals to Financial Advisory and Real Estate Services.
• Attend community events to raise branch presence.
