Job summary

SECU is seeking a Member Services Representative to provide exceptional service, explain product information, and answer questions. You will handle cash, maintenance of accounts, and various member requests while following procedures and security rules.

The role includes notary services and involvement in community events to promote the credit union. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, plus a high school diploma or higher.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and exercise good judgment.
  • Active listening and clear written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist members in person, by phone, and via digital channels.
  • Balance cash drawer and process transactions per procedures.
  • Open and maintain various account types for members.
  • Process foreign currency, wire transfers, and Notary services as needed.
  • Educate members on products and make referrals when appropriate.
  • Attend community events to enhance credit union presence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow security procedures.
  • Organize, file, and scan documents daily.
  • Complete training modules during tenure and perform additional tasks as assigned.
