Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a Member Services Representative to educate members on products and services, open and maintain various accounts, and handle transactions with accuracy. The position requires strong communication skills, a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), and prior SECU experience or related tenure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to educate members.
• Minimum of 2 years SECU or related experience preferred; strong balancing record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional manner through service channels.
• Process transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Open and maintain accounts for new members; tax-advantaged accounts; wire transfers.
• Notary services as requested by management; community event participation to enhance presence.
• Assist with safe deposit boxes and annual training; other branch duties as needed.
• Assist members with in-person, phone, and digital service requests; resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to provide quality referrals and educate members.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill member requests.
