YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Part-Time Member Services Representative to join our team at the Gordon Family YMCA in Sumner, WA. You will deliver excellent service to members, guests, and program participants, promoting memberships and programs while maintaining a welcoming front desk and lobby area.

The role requires at least two years of customer service or related experience, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work well with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service, sales, or related experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to pass Background and Reference checks per WA State Fair Chance Act.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good public relations with members and represent the YMCA in a positive way.
• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in person and on the phone to support member retention.
• Greet and assist all members, potential members and staff politely and professionally.
• Assist with basic membership transactions.
• Respond to members' needs, escalate as needed, and handle complaints courteously.
