Job summary

The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking a part-time Member Services Representative to deliver outstanding service to members, guests, and program participants. You will promote memberships, assist at the front desk, and help maintain a welcoming lobby environment.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of customer service or sales experience, excellent communication skills, and comfort with computers.

• Excellent written and oral skills
• Comfortable with computers and office equipment
• Proactive and capable of getting things done
• Able to work with diverse populations

Responsibilities

• Maintain good public relations with members and represent YMCA interests
• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in-branch and on the phone
• Greet and assist members, potential members and staff professionally
• Assist with basic membership transactions
• Respond to member needs and escalate to supervisor when needed
