Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a Member Services Officer to provide comprehensive account support and consumer lending assistance to members in North Carolina. You will maintain member accounts, open various accounts, and educate members on available products and services.

You will handle cash operations, assist in wire transfers, and process deposits and loans within assigned limits while upholding SECU policies and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities and requirements of Assoc MSO role.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Process and balance member transactions and accounts.
• Assist and approve members in consumer lending within assigned limits.
• Educate members on credit union products and services and provide referrals.
• Open and maintain various accounts following MIP procedures.
• Handle cash operations, wires, and vault/balance responsibilities as directed.
