Job summary

SECU is seeking a Member Services Officer in North Carolina to support members with account maintenance, lending decisions within assigned limits, and related credit union services. You will assist in various service channels and help educate members on products.

You will participate in training programs such as CLP and the New Consumer Lender Learning Program to advance in consumer lending. A strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities and requirements of Assoc MSO role.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in consumer lending within assigned limits and approve/deny loans as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services and educate members.
• Open and maintain accounts for new members following MIP procedures.
• Process wires and handle cash operations as directed by management.
• Organize community events to enhance SECU presence and promote credit union services.
