Job summary

NC SECU is seeking a motivated Member Services Officer to perform account maintenance, open all account types, and assist in consumer lending. You will educate members, process wires, and support daily branch operations while upholding privacy and security standards.

Responsibilities include approving loans within limits, handling cash operations, and promoting community events and credit union services. A strong customer-service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• Passing score on Consumer Lending Program (CLP) exam required.
• Completion of New Consumer Lender Learning Program prior to advancement.
• Knowledgeable about credit union products and services.
• Able to open and maintain all account types for new members.

Responsibilities

• Assist and approve loans within assigned limits; refer outside limits.
• Greet members and handle inquiries across channels (in-person, phone, digital).
• Open basic and tax-advantaged accounts; process wires and currency orders.
• Balance cash drawer and support vault/ATM activities as directed.
• Promote credit union events and community involvement.
