Job summary

The position includes opening the facility, guiding tours, and collaborating with departments to resolve member needs. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, works weekends, and maintains confidentiality and organization

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work well with a diverse population and communicate effectively.
• Confidentiality and excellent organizational skills.
• Able to work weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests; ensure proper check-in procedures.
• Process memberships and programs; promote YMCA benefits.
• Assist customers with online sales and the YMCA app.
• Accurately process new memberships and maintain member information.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain records in the Daxko system.
• Provide facility tours and communicate needs to all departments.
• Address conflicts per policy; resolve and follow up.
• Attend staff meetings and stay current on procedures.
• Ensure rooms are presentable before rentals and at day end.
• Follow all policies for working with YESS CX.
