Urbana Natelli Family YMCA is seeking a Member Services Representative to open the facility and deliver exceptional member service at our Urbana, MD location. This role handles memberships, program registrations, cash handling, and customer inquiries with a friendly, professional approach.

Responsibilities include greeting members, processing registrations, assisting with online sales, and maintaining accurate member records while upholding facility policies and providing tours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse population.
• Confidentiality and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and ensure check-in procedures are followed.
• Process memberships and programs; assist online sales and/or the YMCA app.
• Accurately process new memberships and maintain member information.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain records in the Daxko database.
• Provide facility tours and respond to member inquiries.
• Communicate needs of the customer with all departments.
• Follow policies; resolve conflicts per department policy.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with rentals and events.
