Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union in Framingham, MA is seeking a part-time teller to process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with accuracy and end-of-day balancing.

You will explain DCU products, meet referral goals, and provide service excellence while following security procedures. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Verbal communication skills required.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing, and assist with end of day balancing.
• Explain DCU products and services and complete member requests.
• Meet individual referral goals by identifying member needs and cross-selling appropriate products.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures to limit fraud and losses.
• Provide coverage in other DCU areas if needed and support departments.
• Suggest efficiency and process improvements on an ongoing basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
