Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a flexible, customer-focused team member to support branch operations across multiple locations. You will handle routine transactions, assist members with service requests, and help maintain accurate cash handling and balancing processes.

You will travel between nearby branches as needed, delivering friendly service and adhering to Bank Secrecy Act and internal procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to provide service in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to varying branch locations, staffing needs, and operational environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and branch service systems preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between branch locations required.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, money orders, official checks, and account maintenance activities.
• Assist members with routine service requests while providing a positive, professional, and member-focused experience.
• Maintain balancing accuracy and compliance with cash handling standards, including daily balancing and record keeping.
• Identify member needs and make appropriate referrals to branch staff and business partners when opportunities are identified.
• Maintain working knowledge of products, services, systems, policies, procedures, and self-service options to support member needs.
• Provide staffing coverage across assigned branch locations based on operational needs, staffing requirements, and business priorities.
• Adapt quickly to different branch environments, team dynamics, and operational procedures while maintaining service and performance standards.
• Adhere to all security, fraud prevention, operational, risk, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) obligations.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and branch operations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
