Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a member-focused specialist in Leominster, MA. You will identify member needs, educate on products, and cross-sell services while opening memberships, accounts and loans using established guidelines.

You will also process loans, verify documents, and conduct notary services when needed. Daily duties include teller transactions, end-of-day balancing, audits, and policy adherence to minimize risk.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years related experience is expected.
• Verbal communication skills are essential.
• Technical skills with Word, Excel and Email are needed.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify member needs and build rapport to cross-sell products and services.
• Open memberships, accounts and loans following guidelines and self-service options.
• Process loan requests, verify conditions and closings integrity.
• Handle teller transactions and assist with end-of-day balancing.
• Audit membership applications and loan files for accuracy and compliance.
• Follow DCU/First Tech policies and security guidelines to limit risk.
• Provide coverage in other branches or departments as needed.
• Suggest efficiency improvements and perform other duties as assigned.
