Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer (MSO) to support branch operations and deliver exemplary member service by phone and in person. The role includes cash handling, account origination, and maintenance, with initial training across multiple modules and exposure to lending, collections, and Notary services.

Successful candidates will complete required core modules within 12 months and progressively learn consumer lending, real estate products, and financial advisory

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrates SECU’s Core Values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.
• Additional modules listed in the job description should be completed at this level.

Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions and complete core modules after E&E.
• Provide exemplary member service via phone and in person.
• Handle cash drawer, account origination and maintenance.
• Learn loan products and services and provide referrals as needed.
• Assist with Notary Public services and document processing.
• Interact with other departments to fulfill member requests.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of member information.
• Assist with wire transfers, currency exchange, and holds.
• Learn all consumer lending and credit card products and services.
