Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer to learn core branch operations and deliver exemplary member service in person and by phone. You will handle cash, support account activity, and begin lending and collections training under supervision while remaining compliant with policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or CCUE Certification or AA/AS preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building trust.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service via phone and in person.
• Handle cash drawer and cash box responsibilities.
• Assist with account origination and maintenance.
• Begin lending and collections training.
• Process wire transfers and foreign currency exchange.
• Assist with notary services as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow security procedures.
• Greet members courteously and respond to inquiries.
• Organize and file documents daily.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill requests.
