Job summary

FIRST SERVICE CREDIT UNION is seeking a customer-focused front-line member service representative in Spring, TX. You will handle transactions, assist with account maintenance, and promote appropriate products and services to meet member needs.

Responsibilities include cash handling, balancing cash drawers, answering calls, and providing courteous, professional service at all times. This role requires up to six months of banking or cash-handling experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Up to six months of experience in the banking industry and/or cash handling.
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations and requirements.
• High school education or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Handle member transactions in person, by mail, or by phone including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances and currency exchanges.
• Issue credit union and cashier checks, gift checks/cards, reloadable cards, etc.
• Balance daily work, cash drawer, and negotiables; assist with balancing branch negotiables as needed.
• Perform member account maintenance, including data changes and openings.
• Answer telephone inquiries, forward calls, and take accurate messages with follow-up.
• Promote cross-selling by understanding member needs and recommending products/services.
