You will balance cash drawers, issue checks and reloadable cards, and answer inquiries by phone or in person. The position emphasizes product knowledge, courtesy, and teamwork to ensure every member feels valued.

Qualifications

• Up to six months of banking or cash handling experience.
• High school diploma or GED; knowledge of BSA/AML regulations.
• Courtesy, tact and diplomacy in interactions.
• Customer service skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Physical requirements including reaching, communication, and light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Handle member transactions in person, by mail, or by phone, including deposits and withdrawals.
• Issue checks and reloadable cards; balance cash drawer and negotiables.
• Maintain member accounts and update personal data; open new accounts.
• Answer inquiries by phone and route to appropriate staff; leave messages.
• Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs.
• Support branch teamwork; cover back-up locations as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
