Job summary

FIRST SERVICE CREDIT UNION in Houston is seeking a friendly teller/front-line member service associate to deliver superior service to our members. You will handle transactions accurately and strive to make every member feel like our number one priority.

Responsibilities include deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash handling, and opening accounts, with occasional branch back-up and Saturday availability as needed. You will promote products that meet member needs and provide professional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the banking industry and/or cash handling.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices.
• Ability to communicate with members clearly and professionally.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately handle all member transactions in person, by mail, or by phone.
• Balance daily work, cash drawer, and negotiables; assist with branch balance as needed.
• Open accounts and perform personal data changes as required.
• Answer telephone inquiries and forward messages; ensure timely follow-up.
• Promote Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
