YMCA of Springfield is seeking a proactive Member Service Associate to greet and assist members, handle inquiries, and promote memberships and programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma / GED required. College degree preferred.
• Proven customer service excellence from a similar industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must have sense for detail.
• Experience in office processes and procedures.
• Comfortable with data entry, computer functions, and phone follow ups.
• Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Trained to respond to emergencies and follow safety procedures.
• Oversee multiple duties, including desk operations, cash handling, opening/closing facility, scheduling reservations, issuing equipment/keys, and maintaining records.
