Job summary

VyStar Credit Union in Florida is seeking a Relationship Specialist I to provide an exceptional member experience and to grow new consumer and business memberships, as well as deposits, loans and investment balances with insurance and other protection products.

This role requires the ability to describe VyStar's value proposition, educate members about financial goals, and perform a variety of account transactions and service tasks with accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a sales and/or customer service position.
• Excellent listening skills, verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficient in Internet and Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing personality and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members to understand needs and recommend products.
• Present products clearly to help informed decisions.
• Handle deposits, transfers, withdrawals, and other account transactions.
• Process loan applications and offer more complex loan products.
• Provide services such as notary, wire transfers, and card support.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and teamwork with departments.
