Job summary

Planet Fitness in Renton, WA is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to deliver a superior customer experience for members and guests, assist with sign-ups, and support daily club operations in a welcoming Judgement Free Zone®. You will greet guests, promote the brand, handle inquiries, process memberships, and help achieve sales goals while maintaining clean facilities.

Required are 18+ years of age, willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions during check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members and supporting fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to the Club Manager when needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers.
• Perform membership tasks: sign-ups, updating contact/billing info, cancellations.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club goals.
• Conduct member calls and tours to assess needs.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment and Recovery Zone areas.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized per schedule.
• Conduct club-wide walkthroughs and address safety/policy issues.
• Report maintenance issues promptly (broken/discrepant equipment).
• Support flexible scheduling including full-time and part-time shifts.
• Communicate openly, build relationships, and uphold CORE values.
