Job summary

Planet Fitness—Kingsland is seeking a Member Services Representative to deliver excellent member experiences at the Kingsland, GA location. You will greet guests, sign up new members, and assist the Club Manager while maintaining a clean, welcoming club environment.

You’ll handle phones, tours, and account updates, with a focus on friendly service and teamwork in a fast-paced fitness club setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health!
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including: Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members into the system and take tours for prospective members.
• Sign up new members and calculate rates and monthly payments.
• Assist the Club Manager in counting out the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to questions promptly.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Complete daily tasks within the first hour of shift and assist with cleaning projects as needed.
• Perform walk-arounds and bathroom checks; perform other duties as needed.
