Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate to greet and assist members with a friendly, professional demeanor. You will answer phones, handle payments, and promote memberships and promotions to drive revenue while ensuring a clean, welcoming club environment.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience (retail) or 1 year in fitness, with a flexible schedule and a strong work ethic to support peak hours and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months face-to-face customer service experience in a retail environment or 1 year fitness experience preferred.
• Discuss availability with Hiring Manager and/or note it on your application.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
• Anticipate members' needs and respond promptly.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service with accurate information.
• Resolve customer concerns using strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Handle payments, give change, and issue receipts.
• Promote products and promotions to drive revenue and memberships.
• Answer questions about policies and procedures in a customer-friendly way.
