Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate to welcome members, handle inquiries, and promote club benefits. The role requires a friendly, courteous demeanor and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position includes early morning shifts with weekly hours varying to meet club needs, a chance to drive revenue through product promotions, and a benefits package offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred.
• Hours (Initial training hours may vary as well as when the needs of the facility change)
• Discuss your availability with the Hiring Manager and/or notate it on your application.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with hellos and goodbyes.
• Anticipate member's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all members.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service and answer calls knowledgeably.
• Resolve customer concerns with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Handle cash by accepting payments, giving change and receipts.
• Promote products and special promotions to drive revenue.
• Answer questions about business procedures and policies clearly and accurately.
