Job summary

Planet Fitness in Cranston, RI is seeking a Member Services Representative to deliver a superior, Judgement Free Zone experience. You will greet members, assist with check-ins, promote membership, and connect with guests on the club floor.

You will handle sign-ups, billing updates, answer calls, meet sales goals, maintain cleanliness, and assist with tours while upholding Planet Fitness policies. Flexible full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with check-in and questions.
• Promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor and upholding policies.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to the Club Manager when needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership functions: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Conduct member calls and tours to assess needs and promote memberships.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and Recovery Zone amenities.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked; follow cleaning schedules.
• Walk club areas regularly to address safety and policy issues.
• Report maintenance concerns for repair and safety.
