Planet Fitness is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to deliver a superior customer experience to our members, guests, and prospective members. You will greet and assist on entry, promote the Judgement Free Zone, handle memberships, answer inquiries, and help maintain a clean, welcoming club environment.

The role emphasizes upbeat attitude, reliability, empathy, and strong communication. Training will be provided to support your development and growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• A passion for fitness and health is desirable.
• Upbeat and positive attitude is essential.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact professionally with members and coworkers.
• Strong listener with empathy and problem solving abilities.
• Diplomacy in all interactions; appropriate behavior and language.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they enter, assist with questions during check-in.
• Promote the Judgment Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager when needed.
• Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
• Handle membership-related tasks: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, dues collection, transfers.
• Conduct tours of the club for prospective members; assess needs.
• Process retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and spa areas; restrooms kept clean and stocked.
• Address safety or policy issues promptly during club walkthroughs.
