Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to provide top-tier customer service to members, guests, and prospective members in a welcoming environment. You will handle check-ins, memberships, tours, and retail transactions while upholding our Judgement Free Zone®.

This role emphasizes upbeat attitudes, reliability, and the ability to resolve concerns with a positive approach. You will contribute to a clean, safe club and support fellow team members, with opportunities

Qualifications

Customer service background preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to listen and empathize with members and guests.
Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests as they enter or exit the club and assist with questions at check-in.
Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor and supporting fitness journeys.
Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager when needed.
Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
Process memberships, updates, cancellations, and payment-related tasks.
Conduct tours for prospective members and assess membership needs.
Perform retail transactions and drive sales goals.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities and ensure restrooms are stocked and sanitary.
Address maintenance and safety issues promptly.
