Job summary

Mainstreet Credit Union is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Member Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for members. You will process transactions, maintain accurate cash handling, and refer products and services to fit members' financial needs.

A strong emphasis is placed on accurate referrals and compliance within the credit union's standards. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to member

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–12 months experience in retail or financial environment preferred.
• Ability to deliver exceptional service and build rapport with members.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members, listening to needs and guiding to solutions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
• Balance cash drawer and handle cash with accuracy.
• Make product referrals based on members' financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Ensure compliant service and smooth hand-offs.
• Support branch goals and participate in training when needed.
