Job summary

7 17 Credit Union in Middlefield, OH is seeking a Member Service Representative to be the first point of contact for members, providing friendly, accurate service and connecting them with products and services that meet their needs.

You will process financial transactions, assist with deposits and withdrawals, educate members about credit union offerings, maintain cash drawer accuracy, and support sales referrals while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and working in a Windows-based environment.
• Must be bondable.
• Occasional travel to nearby branches may be required.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries.
• Educate members about credit union products and services to help meet their financial goals.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and daily balancing standards.
• Open, update, and close accounts following proper identification and compliance procedures.
• Support branch sales and referral goals for deposits, loans, and services.
• Handle card services, ACH transactions, and member fraud claims as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous service while maintaining confidentiality.
