Job summary

The Lafayette YMCA in Lafayette, CO is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist to deliver excellent service to members, guests, and participants, promote memberships and programs, and keep the membership desk organized.

You will respond to needs, assist with tour communications, guide people to classes, handle concerns, and follow YMCA policies, with a focus on member retention and a positive, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic backgrounds.
• Previous customer service, sales or related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computers and related software.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers excellent service to members, guests and program participants.
• Promotes membership and programs and maintains the membership desk area.
• Responds to member and guest needs and serves as a liaison between the Y and members.
• Assists with tour communication procedures and guides people to classes.
• Follows YMCA policies and procedures and contributes to member retention.
