Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Davenport, IA, is seeking aMember Service Representative to acquire, expand, and enrich member relationships while delivering exceptional service. You will be part of a team focused on accuracy, integrity, and teamwork, with daily cash handling and outbound sales calls to members.

Responsibilities include profiling members to uncover cross-sell opportunities, balancing cash drawers, and guiding members to appropriate GreenState services.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of similar or related experience or 12 months in an MSR role with knowledge of all credit union accounts and products with proven ability to handle a wide variety of functions quickly and accurately.
• High energy and sales ability and interpersonal skills to represent the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize work assignments and organize work efficiently. Must demonstrate good time management skills to meet established deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with related computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
• Proven relationship building skills and techniques.
• Must be self-motivated, exercise sound judgment, and be able to work independently
• Ability to maintain composure, and problem solve as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
• Provides outstanding member service and sales to meet members' needs.
• Balance a cash drawer daily and understand credit union policies for cash handling.
• Profile each member to uncover opportunities for additional business.
• Builds member relationships by offering GreenState products and services or referrals to specialized departments.
• Participates in promotions and departmental activities to support team goals.
